Australian Mattress Size Guide
Relax Bedding carries all seven commonly available mattress sizes. Single, Single Extra Length, King Single, Double, Queen, King, and Super King.
Single: Suitable for teenagers and children.
Single Extra Long: Suitable for one body within a limited space.
King Single: Suitable for a pre/young teenager or a single regular body.
Double: Suitable for two bodies.
Queen: Suitable for two bodies with slightly more sleeping area.
King: Suitable for two bodies with generous sleeping area.
Super King: Suitable for two bodies with very generous sleeping area
The bed should be the right size so you have adequate freedom of movement. Here are some tips for choosing the best size mattress for you:
- Measure yourself and your sleeping partner.
- The bed should be 10cm longer than the tallest person who will be sleeping in it.
- If both partners sleep on their sides, there’s a good chance they pull their legs up and get into the foetal position. If this is the case, you may be able to get away with less than 10cm.
